Radiohead Release New Video “Burn The Witch”

Just a day after every ’00 high schooler’s favorite band, Radiohead weirdly went a deleted every possible remnant of their online presence – including their website and social media, they released a new video called “Burn The Witch” – in usual Radiohead style, it plays on your mind during and after the show is over.

Well, for starters, it has a sort of Kafkaeque undertone to it – the surrealism coupled with a sinister undertone. Though people will be slightly confused as to what is actually going on in the video. It shows a town where the town’s people are dressed somewhat like the Pilgrims, and everything seems fine and dandy in the beginning, when an inspector comes to take a look at the town. Pretty soon we begin to see the dark side, including a woman being sacrificed by what looks like a cult and flowers blooming on what was once a noose. Later, the inspector is tricked by the town head into entering what looks like a burning man, but in the end is shown to escape and a bluebird being chirpy in the end. If this sounds odd to you, it seems pretty popular with the folk as the video has already garnered more than 4 million views within a day.

Radiohead are planning to release their much-awaited 9th Studio album, that will go on sale from May 4th, 2016. Watch and listen to Burn The Witch here.

They also will be heading on tour starting later this month in the United States and United Kingdom.
