In some good news for all the fans of Randy Jackson, the singer is all set to return as a judge on American Idol. Reports say that Jackson will be returning for the 12th season of the show.
Earlier there were reports that the singer would exit the judging table and would take up a mentoring role but now it has been confirmed that the bassist and singer is better off as a judge on the show. There were also reports that Jackson’s spot was offered to the sexy singer Enrique Iglesias but it seems like the singer rejected the offer or was not satisfied by the deal offered by the Idol makers.
May be tour mate and former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez might have talked ill about the show to Iglesias which he did not like. But it was actually the money and the scheduling which became an issue as the show demands huge time commitment from the artists.
This is the reason the artists demand so much money to be on the show, which they otherwise miss out while touring or promotional events. But it is still unclear what Jackson’s deal is all about, but his spot is likely to complete the panel.
