Rapper Diddy will not answer to any moniker except for Love or Brother Love

If names define identities, then with American rapper Sean combs, he has been changing identities since a long time now and he has done it yet again. The hip-hop hitmaker has shared his decision to change his name to Love, or Brother Love, if you will, with his fans on social media. He has been known by many stage names – Puffy, P. Diddy, Diddy, Puffy AMiYumi, Puffy Daddy and now he said that he will now respond to the moniker, Love.

Forbes listed Sean Combs as earning a whopping 130 million dollars and topping the charts on Celebrity 100 List for this year, beating the records of JK Rowling and Beyoncé Knowles. As Combs announced his new name on a video on Twitter, the Tweeples had their own responses and opinions to share on the new name. The rapper’s birthday was on November 4, 2017, Saturday and as a 48-year-old and in this stage of life, he claimed he is a different man, renouncing his previous nicknames.

He said on Twitter: “I know it’s risky because it could come off as corny to some people,” he said. “So my new name is Love, aka Brother Love. I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers,” adding, “I’m just not who I am before. I’m something different.”

Sean Combs real name still stays the same – Sean John, who has been sharing inspirational insights for his fans and followers where he has been talking about “spreading love”, “black women are beautiful” and made himself the ultimate inspiratoional guru, when he wrote that he pushed his limits “to make sure that I excel at a high level because I know that it inspires my people.”
