American country music singer Scotty McCreery is set to release his upcoming, sophomore album, titled ‘See You Tonight’ on October 15, 2013. The new record will be a big step forward for the ‘I Love You This Big’ singer, as he was more involved in the latest album’s writing process and co-wrote five out of 13 new songs.

The former ‘American Idol’ winner – who participated in season 10 of the popular reality-singing competition and was the first winner on the show born in the 1990s – released the album announcement and said, “I have been writing for a long time now, since I was a kid, but these are the first songs I’ve had a chance to record and release to the public and I’m excited.”

McCreery’s debut album ‘Clear as Day’ was released in 2011 and was certified platinum in the US. The ‘The Trouble With Girls’ singer’s first record also managed to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in October 2011. In 2012, the country star released his Christmas album, titled simply ‘Christmas with Scotty McCreery’, which was certified gold.

The young star’s upcoming album, ‘See You Tonight’ was produced by Frank Rogers and McCreery promises that it provides a balance between classic and new country music. Here is the track listing for ‘See You Tonight’:
