American rock band Skaters – which was formed in 2012 – are all set to hit the road and have announced the UK dates of their current tour. The band first released their single ‘I Wanna Dance’ and will now release their new single, titled ‘Deadbolt’.


The new single will be available from October 28, 2013, with a 7-inch vinyl format to follow on December 2, 2013. The debut album of the band will be released on February 24, 2014 via Warner Bros Records and pre-orders of the upcoming record will start from November 11, 2013. Skaters are currently on tour in the United States to support Palma Violets and will then turn to the UK to play the dates announced. The band has three members: Noah Rubin, Joshua Hubbard and Michael Ian Cummings and they released their first EP in early 2012, which was inspired by New York City’s music and art from various decades.
