In some disappointing news for the fans of the Swedish House Mafia, the trio has announced to call it quits for good. The group on June 23, announced through their official website that their next tour will be their final one.
The message on the website said, “Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you who came on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.” On the other hand the Swedish group has tasted plenty of success while headlining in the month of April in Coachella and also selling out Madison square Garden just a year after their first release ‘One’.
Moreover, the members of the group Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell had also concentrated on their individual solo careers. Billboard noted that the group never intended to tour formally or with an intention to release an album.
But they garnered plenty of attention that it would have been foolish not to capitalize on it. For now the group is all set to host a few shows in Europe throughout the summer and fall. But the fans in the US need not to worry as some US dates also have been added and the group has announced that the final leg of the tour will be announced in the month of August.
