Taylor Swift announces new album Reputation release date – see how Twitter reacted

Taylor Swift’s sixth full-length studio album, Reputation is almost here. The singer announced that her much-awaited album will be dropping on November 10. Not only that, but her first single from the album will be released within the next 24 hours at the time of writing.

Earlier this week, the pop star had removed all her history from social media. Even her official website went black. Fans began speculating that indeed, she was up to something, probably a new album. And that news has come true. After posting a couple of videos of a snake’s tail, she then announced, again on social media, that Reputation was happening!

The cover art for the album was also released, which show Swift posing on the cover and newspaper font with her name around her. The title of the album, Reputation is written in a font that many fans are noticing is exactly the same as rapper Kanye West’s own album, Life Of Pablo. It seems that their ongoing feud is coming to a head with the release of Reputation.

Little more is known about the album, but expect tons of music from Taylor Swift in the next couple of months. And expect them to all be chart-toppers. Another Swift feud that doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon is that of Katy Perry. After Swift released Bad Blood which was speculated to be aimed at Perry, the Swish Swish singer also dropped her official video from the album that pokes fun at Swift with her own squad.

All things aside, this is undoubtedly going to be the album of the year. With Beyoncé tending to her new twins, it gives ample space to Swift to outshine all her pop contemporaries. There were also rumours that she will be collaborating with BFF Selena Gomez on Reputation, but who knows? Won’t November 10 come sooner?
