The latest news is bound to disappoint fans who were looking forward to seeing The Jonas Brothers on stage, as the trio announced on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 that their tour has been cancelled, just two days before it was about to begin, on Friday, October 11, 2013. Jesse Derris, the band’s spokesperson confirmed the news and explained that there is a deep rift among the three brothers, as well as that there was a huge disagreement over their music direction.

The Jonas Brothers' tour cancelled due to creative differences

The ‘First Time’ musicians reportedly had an argument over the weekend regarding the band’s direction and their music, which resulted in the decision to cancel their upcoming 19-date tour, scheduled to kick off on Friday, October 11, 2013. Fans who purchased their tickets do not need to worry, as it was confirmed that the money will be refunded to them.

For the time being, it remains unknown what the latest development means for the ‘Lovebug’ musicians, who managed to sell over 20 million albums all over the world and gain a huge fan following internationally. Their representative said that it remains to be seen what the future holds for The Jonas Brothers.

In the last couple of years, the three brothers handled their own separate projects: Nick, 21 and Joe, 24, released their solo records and even tried their hands at acting, while Kevin, 25, starred in his own reality show with wife Danielle, titled ‘Married to Jonas’. Even though the couple is expecting their first child soon, a source close to the band confirms that the tour cancellation is related to creative differences only.
