UK-based alternative rock band Travis is set to release their long-awaited seventh studio album, titled ‘Where You Stand’ on August 19, 2013 and singer/guitarist Fran Healy, guitarist Andy Dunlop, bassist Dougie Payne and drummer Neil Primrose are getting ready for a fall tour in order to promote it. Following their amazing performance at T in The Park festival this year, the band is now adding more dates to their UK and Scotland tour.
The ‘Sing’ musicians are releasing ‘Where You Stand’ after a 5-year-long break and it is a follow-up to the 2008’s record ‘Ode To J. Smith’. The upcoming album will be released on their own re-launched label Red Telephone Box via Kobalt Label Services and Travis collaborated with the famous Swedish producer Michael Ilbert, who also worked with The Cardigans and The Hives. The band’s next single ‘Moving’ will premiere on the same day as the album, August 19, 2013.
Along with the previously announced UK tour dates, Travis are now adding three more shows in Scotland, later in 2013. Tickets are about to go on sale on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 9 am. Here are the dates for the band’s UK and Scotland tour:
