Tyga opens up about Kylie Jenner breakup: “When it was bad, it was really bad”

Tyga became a worldwide known name not for his music, but for his controversial relationship with the youngest Kardashian/Jenner sister, Kylie Jenner. When she was still underage, tabloid reports emerged that she and Tyga, then 25, were in a relationship. They continued their whirlwind romance for a couple of years after that, always courting controversy and seeming stronger than ever. Then suddenly, all the brouhaha ended. What really happened? The Kardashians, who are known for being open books, have kept mum on the suspected Kylie-Tyga breakup.

For the first time, the rapper has opened up about the reason behind the demise of his relationship with Kylie Jenner. In an interview with Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club, he said to DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, “I mean, we started off as friends, and then we got into a relationship. It’s ain’t a losing thing. When you make a decision to not be in a relationship with somebody, you make that decision. You split ways.”

He says that their breakup was mutual and that there was no “loser”. Tyga continued, “I have love for her, but I’m not in love no more. When you’re with somebody that first year, it’s magic and then after that you start realizing a bunch of sh*t. I think the main thing was a lot of people – a lot of outside influences – and she’s younger than me and she’s dealing with perception, I’m older so I can deal with perception. But for her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception was everything.”

Kylie Jenner is one of the biggest names on social media, with millions of followers. How did he feel dating a social media star? “I like to keep mystique, but I knew that’s how she made her money.”

So, will he be getting back together with Kylie? “It’s not for me, bro. I mean, when it was good, it was good. When it was bad, it was really bad.”

So there.
