American singer Whitney Houston’s official cause of death has been revealed. In a shocking revelation, it has been said that the singer died due to drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and the use of cocaine.
Houston’s body was discovered by her hairdresser and her bodyguard and the face of the singer was underwater while her legs were up as if she had slid down the back of the tub. According to the initial reports, Houston was rendered unconscious from sedatives and was then drowned.
It was reported by the L.A. County Coroner that cocaine was found in her system at the time of her death. Moreover, several other drugs were also found along in her system but they were not actually what killed her.
It was revealed that Cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to her death. The other drugs which were found included, Flexeril, Xanax, Diphenhydramine and Marijuana which did not contribute to her death. The recent news does not make the singer’s death less tragic but it hopefully be some closure to her friends as well as family. The singer has left behind a daughter and an adopted son.
